Magnus Ignis Complete Guide – Wiki + FAQ
What is Magnus Ignis?
“Magnus Ignis” is a fantasy card game in which you control gods, heroes, and monsters in battle.
As a king in a world where all dreams and nightmares have become a reality and anything is possible, you must protect your people and territory, fighting other kings and evil spirits.
Quest
You can progress and develop by undertaking quests. You will consume Energy, and you can also obtain EXP and Gems which are used as currency. If you’re lucky, you might even find Champion Cards and treasure.
When your progress reaches 100%, the scene will be completed and you’ll be able to advance to the next scene.
EXP
Experience. This is obtained by undertaking a quest. If you reach a fixed value, your level increases, and you can raise your maximum Attack and Cos (Max AC) or maximum Defense Cost (Max DC).
Energy
Energy is consumed when undertaking quests. 1 point is replenished every minute.
Gem
This world’s currency. You can obtain them by undertaking quests or selling off Champion Cards. They are necessary to enhance and evolve Champion Cards.
Treasure
A mysterious treasure harbouring a strong force. 1 series consists of 6 types of the same form, but with different colors. You can liberate a special Champion Card inprisoned by collecting all 6 colors in 1 series.
You can gain treasure on Quests and Battles.
Bosses
As you progress through your quests, bosses will sometimes appear. In battles with bosses, 1 leader and 2 ally leaders can participate. The higher the Card’s ATK, the heavier the damage inflicted on the opponent becomes, and the higher the Card’s DEF, the smaller the damage received from the opponent becomes.
Champion Cards
Champion Cards are the real military strength required for battling bosses and rival kings. You can possess up to 80 cards. You can browse the cards you possess from the “Legion” tab on the Enhance page.
There are settings for ATK, DEF, Cost, vanguard/rear guard and attribution. By developing your Champion Cards through enhancement and evolution, you can increase their ATK and DEF.
Also, equipping Artifacts in card slots will increase ATK and DEF. Cards of the same Champion might have different numbers of slots. Cards with many slots are very valuable.
Skills
Some Champion Cards possess Skills. When a card with a skill participates in a battle, the skill is invoked at a fixed probability rate, allowing you to obtain each skill’s determined effect. You can check skills on the “Legion” tab on the Enhance page. Also, some skills can be invoked in raid battles.
If there are multiple Champion Cards possessing the same skill, an invocation check is performed in order from the skill with the highest effect. The same skill can be invoked only once in 1 battle.
Additionally, if you use a card with the skill as the vase and a card with the same skill as material to enhance, the skill level might increase. When the skill level increases, the invoking probability and effectiveness are raised.
Artifacts
Artifacts are ancient magical relics. Nobody knows how they work. By equipping a Champion Card with one, various abilities might be improved. Try equipping an artefact in the Card’s artefact slots!
Even if your Champion Card levels up or evolves, the slot number and equipped artifacts do not change.
You can remove an artefact from a slot, but this will cause the artefact to disappear.
Leaders
You can name a Leader at the Legion tab of the Enhance page. The leader fights with bosses that appear in quests.
Also, when battling bosses, you ally king’s leaders may assist you.
Directory
You can check Champion Cards you’ve obtained.
On the directory page you can also find tasks regarding the number of registered Champion Cards and their levels. If these tasks are cleared, you can obtain a directory bonus. Being aware of these tasks, and collecting Cards and evolving them wisely will provide an advantage in gameplay!
Battle
Challenge other kings to battle, and you can steal treasure. When attacking someone, BP (Battle Power) is consumed.
The battle’s winner is decided by battle results of 3 lines. If 3 lines win, it’s a perfect victory, and the reward is greater than winning with 2 lines.
Furthermore, if the numerical values of the attacker and the defender on the same line are identical, the attacker loses.
Decks
The Deck is a set of selected and configured Champion Cards. You can configure theme at the Legion page of the Enhance menu. Place Cards for attacking other kings in the “Attack Deck” and Cards for defending the attacks by other kings in the “Defense Deck”. You can save 5 different types each of both the AD and the DD.
You can place up to 10 Champion Cards in a Deck. The total Cost of all Cards may not exceed your Max AC (Maximum Attack Cost) or Max DC (Maximum Defense Cost).
Vanguard/Rear Guard
Champion Cards have vanguard/rear guard configured. Vanguard/rear guard is displayed by a symbol on the Champion Card.
If the vanguard card is placed on the front side and the rear guard is on the back side, at the start of the battle, their ATK and DEF increase as formation bonus. They can be placed at a different location but this incurs a slight loss.
Max AC
Maximum Attack Cost. The maximum power of the attack deck. When this increases, you become able to enlist Champion Cards that require a high cost to your deck. Card cost never effects the consumption of BP (Battle Power).
Max DC
Maximum Defense Cose. The maximum power of the defense deck. When this increases, you become able to enlist Champion Cards that require a high cost to your deck. Card cost never effects the consumption of BP (Battle Power).
BP (Battle Power)

- Even without a perfect victory, if you fight the same king 3 times, you cannot battle that opponent for 24 hours.
Raid Battle
While progressing through the quests, and during particular events, raid bosses – strong enemies different from normal rivals and bosses – will sometimes challenge you. Also, you can assist allies fighting raid bosses. To fight raid bosses, you consume BP (Battle Power).
If you perform a full power attack of your ally helps you within the time limit, a Combo will be triggered. Combos can be chained and longer Combos allow you to deal more damage to the raid boss.
By defeating a raid boss or helping out Allies, you can obtained great rewards. However, raid bosses don’t hang around forever. Don’t let them escape when they appear!
Each raid boss has his/her own ladder of attackers. If you are at a higher point of the ladder when a raid boss disappears, you can obtain much greater rewards!

There, you will fight the Residents of Chaos to win wonderful rewards.
Enhancement
Select a base card and material cards, then merge them to enhance the base card. The cards used as materials will disappear. The base card’s ATK and DEF increase as it levels up.
If you merge the base card with a material card that has the same skill, the skill level might increase. When the skill level increases, the invoking probability and effectiveness are raised.
Evolve
You can Evolve your Champion Cards by merging them. Select the “Evolve” tab on the Enhance menu. There are 4 ranks of Evolution. For ranks 1 to 3, you can trigger Evolution by merging two cards of the same champion. The Evolution rank of the base card will increase by one, no matter what rank the material is.
For the final rank 4 Evolution, you need a set of special “Insignia” items of the same rarity as the base card.
Evolution resets the enhancement level of the Champion Card to 1. A higher Evolution Rank means higher basic and maximum stats.
Additionally, 5% of stats of both the base and material cards will be carried over. If a card is at maximum Enhance Level, 10% is carried over! Increasing the maximum stats of your cards is very important.
