1. What is Ninja Royale?
Meet the Ultimate Ninja Game!
Carry out a series of missions in a world of ninja, fighting evil and becoming a full-fledged shinobi yourself. Collect treasures scattered throughout the world, at times fighting other ninjas for a valuable, and raise your prestige. That’s what Ninja Royale is all about.
Worlds
The Ninja Royale universe consists of many exciting worlds. Each world is made up of 5 paths, which in turn consists of 3 steps. Every step has multiple missions. By completing all of the missions in a step the player can meet a world boss. Every world has 5 bosses, one for each path.
2. Characters
Master
Master Ninja is a consummate adept who has molded many an initiate into a ninja in his dojos on Mt. Zen. Apparently a ninja of great spiritual and physical skill, and something of a living legend in his younger days.
Sara
Sara is a senior ninja in her third year as a full-fledged shinobi. Also happens to be the Master’s granddaughter. A born teacher and leader, she takes the initiative in helping instruct the initiates.
3. Missions
What are Missions?
A ninja’s job is to accept and carry out missions. Missions require Energy, but completing a mission results in zeny, XP and treasures.
Special Missions
After multiple missions, special missions will start to come up. These are greater tests if your ninja skills, but carrying out a special mission will result in rewards that correspond to the ninja’s prowess.
Encountering Friends
You may encounter other ninjas during missions. If it’s a stranger, consider it a great opportunity to make more friends. Friending gets you 10 karmas, and 30 more if you send a comment.
Schmooze and Sparring
If you encounter a friend, you have the choice of schmoozing or sparring. Schmoozing gets you 30 karmas. Sparring with a friend gets you more XP than regular missions. Sparring doesn’t use up any of your battle turns. The XP acquired depends on whether you win or lose, and the skill gap between you and the friend.
4. Battles
Treasure Battle (PvP)
It is a part of ninja discipline to battle each other over a treasure. If the challenger wins, s/he gets the treasure. However, challengers must win within a certain amount of time, or be declared a loser! If you absolutely do not want to lose a particular treasure, it would be best to set a trap in it. Attacks from challengers are recorded under History > Battles.
Assists
Assists are when another ninja backs you up during a battle. A friend’s assist is powerful than one from any old ninja. The more friends you have, the higher the chances of an assist! Of course, your opponents also have friends. You may find yourself at a disadvantage at times, when the foe happens to get an assist.
5. Status
Level
Level indicates a ninja’s caliber. Levels rise as XP (experience points) is acquired through missions and battles.
XP
XP is acquired through missions and battles. The XP needed to reach the next level is indicated under “Lv”, displayed at screen top. When the gauge fills, the level goes up by 1.
Attack & Defense
The sum of your base attack/defense ability (AT or DF) and the stats associated with your equipped gear. The base AT and DF increases as you level up.
Luck
Affects how lucky you get in certain situations. On a rare occasion, you will encounter gear items with a luck stat.
Battle Turns
The number of times the ninja can fight a PvP battle. You will recover one battle turn every hour, but turns can also be recovered using karma and items.
Energy
The stat for carrying out missions. You will recover 1 unit of energy every 3 minutes. You can use karma and recovery items.
Zeny
Zeny is the currency of the ninja world. Zeny is acquired through missions, special missions, battles and boss battles. Gear upgrade use zeny. Be aware that the amount needed varie according to gear and grade.
Karma
Karmas are awarded for good deeds, like greeting a fellow ninja. Ninjas can convert the karmas into Energy; 100 karmas fully restore Energy. More karmas are given for good deeds done to friends than strangers.

Greeting
Greeting friends and other ninjas is a part of the ninja way. Greetings also result in karma. Greetings received from other ninjas can be found in Menu > History > Greetings.

Friending
Friends are essential. When ninjas meet others of like mind, they can friend each other. A greeting sent to a friend results in more karmas.
Treasures
Treasures are picked up during missions, and are proof of a ninja’s power and prestige. Seven treasures make up a series, and every treasure won will appear in Menu > Treasures. Don’t try to complete, or comp, an entire series of treasures through missions alone! The best way to fill gaps in a collection is by battling other ninjas for the missing piece. Custom forbids battle challenges on comped treasures. In other words, a comped series can never be lost!
6. Gear
Weapons
Weapons are items made for attacks. Acquiring a weapon raises a ninja’s attack power.
Armor
Armor are items made for defense. Acquiring an armor raises a ninja’s defense power.
Tools
Tools are covert items used by ninjas for travel, infiltration and other purposes. Acquiring a tool raises both attack and defense power in a balanced manner.
Rarity
Each gear item has a rarity. The higher the rarity, the less likely you are to acquire one. Rarity is indicated with an ascending number of star.
Upgrade
Gear can be upgraded using zeny, Dragon Gem, Dragon Ore, and Dragon Lode, in order to raise the item’s stats.
Fusion
Multiples of the same gear item can be fused a certain number of times, in order to increase both its base stats and max upgrade limit. Every gear items has a different fusion limit.
Edge
During events, the stats for certain gear item may receive a temporary boost due to “lineage edge” or “event edge”.
Auto-Slot
The auto-slot function, accessible through the profile screen, automatically assigns the optimal combination of your most powerful gear and jutsu.
7. Hime’s Gear Hoard
Hime
Hime may be fickle, but she has good stuff! Barter antique tokens for gear items at Hime’s Hoard.
Premium Offering
This offering yields a 3-rare through 5-rare gear item. The rarer the item, the less likely you are to acquire one.
*Koban is the currency on iOS that is equivalent to MobaCoin on Android.
Emerald/Black Pearl Offering
You can barter tokens–acquired through missions and other means–for gear items.
8. Goods
Sushi
Sushi fully restores battle turns and Mission Energy.
*Sushi can be used for full recovery up to 10 times a day.
*The clock resets every day at 4:00am PT.
Cookie
A golden cookie, redolent with butter. One-off use, but oh, the sweet energy. Crumbs on your lips, foes at your feet!

Dorayaki (L)
Plump little pancakes filled with sweet anko, fresh off the grill. Instantly wipes away fatigue and restores all your battle turns.
Dorayaki (S)
A bite-size piece of plump silver-dollar pancakes, filled with anko. Erases fatigue and restores a single battle turn.
There is a daily use limit for dorayaki; the clock resets at 4:00am PT.
Traps
Traps go off when a ninja comes after your treasure, inflicting damage even before you start the battle. You can set 1 or more traps on any given item, but once set, a trap cannot be removed. Also, a trap is only good for one-time use, so be sure to use them wisely.
9. Events
Events
There are 2/3 events held per month. Players can acquire new clans and powerful gear by meeting certain goals during the event period.
Arena Events
A combat championship, help in lineage-specific battlefields.
Crackdown Events
A cooperative assault on increasingly powerful bosses.
Drop ‘Em Events
A race to collect clan primers and learn the ways of a new clan. Sharing the primers with friends is a key component.
Treasure Events
A race to complete event-only treasure series multiple times.
10. Clans
Clans
There are a variety of clans in the ninja world. Every clan has its own style and custom, and these can be seen in their lineage and gear. Events offer the most opportunity to acquire a new clan. You can also acquire rarer versions of the same clan suit, by clearing difficult goals and achieving high standing. The suits come in common, rare, and epic variants.
Jutsu
An ability tied to a clan. By adding a jutsu to a currently-equipped gear item, you can invoke the power of any compatible lineages. Jutsu can be upgraded to a certain point, using gems. The max upgrade limit is determined by the rarity of you clan suit, with a higher limit for rarer suits.
11. Bulletin Board
Bulletin Board
Here, you can see what your friends are doing and track the kudos received. Let your friends’ achievements spur you to greater heights! The crawler at the bottom of the Home screen will also tell you what your friends are doing.
